The Mindray BS-240 is a new-generation, medium-to-high throughput fully automated biochemical analyzer, specifically designed to meet the high-standard and high-efficiency testing demands of medium-sized hospital laboratories, independent testing centers, and regional medical centers. Building upon the BS-230 platform, this instrument features comprehensive upgrades, including an optimized optical system, enhanced temperature control precision, and an intelligent parallel processing architecture. These improvements increase the testing speed to a maximum of 320 tests per hour and support over 100 biochemical and specific protein test items, covering routine biochemistry, inflammatory markers, diabetes monitoring, and more. It provides clinicians with faster, more accurate, and comprehensive diagnostic data.
The BS-240 incorporates a modular reaction disc design and a dual-probe sampling system, enabling simultaneous and efficient scheduling of samples and reagents, which significantly reduces the test turnaround time. Its innovative “Intelligent Fluid Management” technology automatically monitors reagent levels, precisely controls dispensing volumes, and includes smart clog prevention and self-cleaning functions. This not only improves reagent utilization efficiency but also ensures long-term operational stability and consistent results. The instrument is equipped with a 12-inch high-definition touchscreen and a graphical workflow interface, supports remote monitoring and data management, and can seamlessly connect to Laboratory Information Systems (LIS), empowering laboratories to achieve intelligent and automated operation.
